Resources & Downloads

Knowledge is power. We provide a variety of resources and documents so that you can stay informed and involved in what the ANC Caucus is doing. Whether you’re a researcher, student, journalist, or active community member, feel free to download the materials below:

Annual Caucus Report 2025 (PDF) – A comprehensive report of our Caucus’s activities and impact in the year 2025. This report highlights key achievements, challenges, and statistics from our work in the legislature and on the ground. Inside, you’ll find summaries of motions we brought, questions asked, and community projects launched, as well as financial statements. (34 pages, PDF, 1.2 MB)

Policy Brief: Bridging the Service Delivery Gap – This downloadable brief outlines the ANC Western Cape Caucus’s proposals to improve basic services in under-served communities. It includes data on water, electricity, and sanitation backlogs, along with our recommendations (such as equitable budget allocations and anti-corruption measures) to address these issues. If you want to understand our policy perspective on service delivery, this is a great resource. (10 pages, PDF)

Media Statement Archive (2019–2025) – A compiled document of all public media statements issued by the ANC Western Cape Caucus from 2019 through 2025. This archive is a valuable historical record of our positions on various issues over the years – from education reform, healthcare crises, economic development initiatives, to responses to crises like the COVID-19 pandemic. Researchers and members of the public can see how our stance has evolved and remained consistent in fighting for people’s interests. (PDF, 500 KB)

Constitution & Membership Form – Interested in the formalities of the ANC and want to join? Here you can download the ANC Constitution (which guides our values, structures, and disciplinary code) as well as a membership application form to join the African National Congress. By joining the ANC, you become part of the movement driving change in our province and country. (Various formats available)

Volunteer:

Your time and skills can help empower our communities. Sign up as a volunteer to assist with Caucus outreach programs, community events, and campaigns. Whether you can help organize a local meeting, distribute pamphlets, or lend a hand at our community clean-up days, volunteers are the heart of our activist movement. We provide orientation and training – everyone has something to contribute!

Join the ANC:

Become a member of the African National Congress and be part of the change you want to see. Joining the ANC means you’ll be connected to your local branch and can influence policy from the ground up. As a member, you can participate in branch meetings, help elect leaders, and vote on important issues. Our strength is in our membership – the more people join, the stronger the voice for pro-people policies in the Western Cape. (We’ve provided a downloadable membership form in the Resources section, or visit any ANC branch office to sign up.)

Newsletter Sign-Up:

Stay updated on Caucus news and community initiatives. Subscribe to our e-newsletter to receive timely updates, announcements of upcoming events, and highlights of our work delivered straight to your inbox. We share inspiring stories of community victories, profiles of Caucus members, and practical information like how to navigate provincial government services. Don’t miss out – sign up and stay informed.

Petitions & Surveys:

Have your say on issues that matter. We frequently host petitions to put pressure on authorities for urgent changes (for example, fixing a hazardous roadway or stopping a school closure), and conduct surveys to gather public input on policy questions. Check our website and social media for active petitions you can sign and surveys you can fill out. This is a direct way to make your voice heard and help shape our Caucus’s priorities. Every signature counts and every opinion matters

Youth & Branch Outreach:

Youth empowerment and local organization are key to our movement. We encourage young people to get involved through the ANC Youth League and our Caucus’s internship and mentorship opportunities. If you’re a student or young activist, connect with us to learn about youth forums, leadership workshops, and internships in the Caucus where you can learn how governance works. Likewise, we work closely with ANC branches and alliance structures in 6 every community – so if you’re already in the ANC or an alliance partner, come to our Caucus open briefings and branch report-backs. Grassroots structures are where people power lives. Plug in, organize, and let’s transform our communities together.

For more details on any of these get-involved opportunities, feel free to reach out to us. Our team is ready to welcome you – together, we can make a tangible difference in the Western Cape.
